Offering a panoramic coastline stretching for more than 42 miles, Aruba offers some of the most pristine beaches on the planet. One of the most commonly cited examples is Eagle Beach. While this is indeed a site to behold, we need to keep in mind that it can become inundated with visitors during the height of the tourist season.
So, it makes sense to think slightly outside the box if you hope to make the most out of an upcoming holiday. Let’s look at three additional beaches that will provide visual memories to last a lifetime.

Palm Beach

As the name of this first beach might suggest, its shores are punctuated by a series of verdant green palm trees. Palm Beach is also quite a convenient destination. A handful of luxury hotels are located only a stone’s throw away, and two separate shopping malls can be accessed on foot (important when purchasing items such as sunscreen, beach towels, and snorkels). The picturesque seascape to be found here has also become popular for its sunsets, as you can enjoy unfettered views of the distant horizon.

Baby Beach

Appearing rather similar to a half moon when viewed at a distance, Baby Beach is yet another option to consider. Note that while generally referred to as a beach, this section of coastline is actually a lagoon. This ensures placid waters, and depths are comparatively shallow. You are therefore likely to see snorkelers exploring the stunning selection of maritime flora and fauna. In addition to bleached-white stands, visitors are provided with a refreshment stand that serves various foods and beverages. You can then head back out into the inviting waters once you have had your fill. Note that Baby Beach is located approximately 45 minutes by car from the majority of Palm Beach hotels.

Arashi Beach

Similar to Baby Beach, Arashi Beach is suitable for children and adults alike. Not only does it offer calm waters, but nearby California Lighthouse will provide plenty of photographic opportunities. You may also choose to arrive in the early evening, and to view pelicans diving for fish in the coastal waters. Arashi Beach likewise provides visitors with access to a number of small huts known as “palapas” if you wish to avoid the midday sun.

What You Need Before Flying to Aruba

Similar to any vacation, it pays to prepare all necessary documentation in advance. It is important to note that you will have to obtain an electronic disembarkation (ED) card before arriving. You can apply online for the ED card, and this will need to be presented alongside a valid passport. Thankfully, the process is extremely straightforward.

We should finally mention that the beaches highlighted above are only a few illustrations of what Aruba has to offer. You can always perform additional online research; particularly if you have the time to explore the entire coastline. Surf, sand, and sun are only moments away!
